1. The unit wakes up every hour for a health check, regardless of whether it sees the ignition being switched on or not.

So if you fitted a switch, we would still see it moving with a fault, then arrange a service call. We would then spot tampering.

If you disconnected the main power feed, we would also spot the unit hasn't reported as per schedule and arrange a service. Either way, it's covered.

2. The unit is fused on all power feeds, making it impossible to catch fire.

this dosent seem verry effective what would stop some kid from disonecting the unit at night or fitting a stitch to cut the poer of to the unit at night also do you cover the car in teh event of fire or damage to the car in the event the unit or its wiring malfunctions or catches fire good idea but im glad i dont need one
