Why is it that V-8's cause people to be aroused? Is it because it is a 'working-class' cheap engine with tons of available parts, or is there some esoteric meaning behind 8 cylinders? 8 cylinders on 5 main bearings is not as sensible as 6 inline cylinders on 7 main bearings. Is it just a cult fanaticism. I'd like to know the real mathematics behind all the hype, if any exists. Most powerful combustion engines i.e. jet turbines/rockets are not V configuration. Explain this.

you're right. the cheviac and the jimmy sound the best. theres just something about the those stacks that make that little 305 sound so mean, and that dead smooth idle from the 400, music to my ears.

I have seen all this before but i am sure dave loves it that you featured these on your channel. I agree the V8 engine sounds awesome, always does, except when a banana is stuck up your tail pipe LOL. Hey wouldn't it be funny if you actually did that and then the tail pipe turned into a banana launcher?
