Well, Somewhere in the comic books Anya really gets back, I'm not sure if it's as a human, demon or something else, but I wouldn't put her in the opening credits, because in season 8 she gets less relevant. She just appears in few episodes and Xander gets into a relationship with Dawn, so her character kind of looses importance for the whole story. I've read it on wikipedia, having in count that the comics aren't available in my country ^.^'' Just like to keep up! And nice video, by the way :)

There is no season 8. There are a series of comics that likes to pretend it's Buffy, but it sucks balls and is a billion times worse than most fan fic.

exactly if anyone has seen all of the buffy series, then they know that death is never the end as angel states in angel season 5.

Except with Doyle, Cordelia, Tara, Fred, Joyce, and the list goes on. Sometimes, characters are meant to stay dead for a reason so that their deaths have meaning or weight. Others die so that the heroes will be motivated into action, or just so they can grow. Doyle sacrificed himself in a noble death, and resurrecting him would minimize that. Anya died honorably fighting a larger battle when she ran away from an apocalypse four years earlier. Darla dusted herself to save her child.

All very good points, but Darla comes back in season 4 - as a ghost no less but she still comes back - to save her son from following down an evil path (though it came to no prevail). Still, you have an awesome point and I'll give you that. It's like Clark Kent's father dying so Clark can finally begin his journey to becoming Superman.

His name is James Erickson. He is a police officer who is on Buffy's case due to the destruction of Sunnydale. He originally considers "Terrorists" but as the season progresses, truths come out, and he discovers the truth. He soon becomes one of the scooby gang, later on, but as for the start of the show, he's just your average ordinary guy, who works as a police officer in Hemery :) :)

He is from Joss Whedon's new show, Dollhouse. I didn't mind the actor and the character in the continuation is a cop so....oh and he's in the opening this early coz he's in eps 1-22.
