Possibly the best series 'tv' has EVER seen. Sure aren't any like this anymore. Even my 17 yr old daughter who has only known reruns of this show has said this was her ideal of the perfect family. I was groundbreaking for its time too. White audiences watched this show & the color barriers simply disappeared. Could have been any family, anywhere. I myself sure wanted Rashad as my 'mommy' & who WOULDN'T want Cosby as 'daddy'. Happy memories!

Because Raven became so popular on the show too, they had to make a way to have her stay a little longer since Lisa Bonet was fired and there was no need for Joseph Phillips to stay either.
