Pot won't cause you to get into fights, screw hookers and use cocaine like alcohol does but I guess thats what the government wants us all to do they by tempting us to break the law and go deeper into debt to keep us as slaves for the ritch! screw that logic America needs more pot and less tyranny!
Why waste so much time and energy on all the wrong issues? We are surrounded by serious and very real dangers. The next huge economic meltdown is approaching which will be far worse than the last one. While all this and more is going down, the enemys of our freedom / Dianne Feinstein and Sheriff Lee Baca and gang are worried about whether or not someone is smoking a bowl of flowers
Americans don't do anything. nobody is gonna grow pot. It is more likely that people will pick up a pack of joints when they see it goin' for a pack of cigs. People aren't going to go to all of the trouble of tracking down some good seeds, growing and watering. We are lethargic thanks to big business and the media.
@Luigi84289 Agreed. If we wanted to, we could also brew our own beer or make our own wine. But most people would rather pay for ready made stuff. It takes effort to take care of a cannabis plant.
The Gateway argument would hold no water if pot was legalized. And getting real Booze and Cigarettes could additionally be argued to be gateway drugs. Most people who smoke pot have smoked a cigarette.
The constitution is a restriction of Government power. The Government has no business interfering with the functioning of our society and our personal liberty. They have never legitimately had that right. We created the constitution to put them in a box.
for the record tobacco is cheap and honestly if weed was in places for sale i would buy it rather than wait on the min 8 week flowering because I like most people would smoke so much i would need both sources!
research/advocate industrial hemp alongside medicinal cannabis for health liberty and economy! and ecology! research the commodities we are not taking advantage of economically
You can make money off of cannabis. Most people will not grow their own cannabis. Convenience is key. The smell, the lights, the time, the space, and total effort is not worth it for many...many urban Americans. We are a McDonalds generation. Remember that.
Cholesterol is an artery clogging substance, a sure killer. It leads to heart problems, diabetes, hypertension and a host of other deadly conditions.
McDonalds is foremost at peddling cholesterol to our youth, hooking them on greaseburgers and fries, gateway foods to fat steaks and high cholesterol. Obesity is killing more people in America than drunk driving, homicide, suicide and even cancer, combined!
Where is the government's concern over these valid statistics? Talk about real hypocracy!

Yo Harry-
I really can't believe that you would choose the screen name (Harry J. Anslinger) ,that you are using.
It's tantamount to setting up a bottled gas company in Jerusalem and calling it "Hitler's". Surely it's a cruel joke from a stoned masochist, yes?
