  • my mom loves egg and i want to try it for her but she dont like coconut milk can i substitute it with normal milk??????????????????????PLZ REPLY

  • @hotheadali : Yes, you can either use milk or cream. Be careful to not overcook/boil the cream or milk else it may separate.

  • @hotheadali If you dont like coconut milk you can try adding dried coconut powder.

  • hey guys i am a vegetarian but i do eat egg...so i want to know what can i substitute for chiken masala powder in the recipe?

  • @ramya2688 : Chicken Masala is not Non-Vegetarian - it is pure vegetarian and is fine for you to use. It is just a blend of spices.

  • Is chicken masala the same as Maggi cubes?

  • @Limelights1 : No, it is different.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry

How do you get these masala's from then?

  • my favorite!! yummy!

  • Does it matter if one uses white or purple onions?

  • @MerciWK

No, you can use which ever you prefer or have on hand.

  • The one with the short hair.. Manusha or whatever her name is has a very nice voice!

  • @macron12

  • Chicken Masala is non-vegetarian 2:55 haha...lol . and we are making egg curry here right? If I really care about chicken masala being non veg I wouldn't be even making egg thing.

  • please tell mi how to get good flavour of masala..garam ..cinnamon,bay leaf etc...its not smelling good in jordan,is it that u have to roast to get its smell/in india thy by itself have good smel..wen i fried bay leaf iam not getting its smeell..why is it so?

  • @hijklmnop36 : It could be the quality of the bay leaf :(

Usually when they old they do not have a strong aroma....

  • Awesome recipe!! I tried it today and loved it. I also put in shrimps together with Eggs and wow it was tooo YUM!!! Great.

  • what do you eat this curry with? Rice or Roti?

  • que lindas las amo!!

  • wow this is soo different ...its interesting cause my mum's egg curry is alot darker in colour and also she fries the whole egg in some oil jus lightly to make a ''skin'' around the egg.. gives the egg a crunch and then she adds the egg to the liquid bit.

  • @missy07yashy what part of India is she from?

  • @exoticbeb lol my mother isnt from india, her great grand mother is from india, she has never been to india and neither have i so i would knw where abts in india she was from lol.

  • thank you for all you recipes!!! they;re so easy to follow and i;ve learnt loads on how to cook!!! I've even taught my mum a few things haha!!! thanks xxx

  • u need to fry the whole egg that the way east indian prepare

  • Awesome! I am so starving now :(

  • This is the best egg curry I ever had in my life.

  • this recipe is too good, the combination of coconut milk with tomato puree was truely fabulous. It does taste amazing. Dont mind the jobless and useless punks who posted useless comments. Its an amazing dish, my husband loved it too

  • Thanks for your support!

  • don't mind the haters on here ladies they are just jealous because you are much prettier and more skilled in the kitchen than them.

  • ek min... mujhe yeh egg curry bohot zyada gadbad lag rahi hai... coconut milk? sugar... err.. what egg curry is this?!

  • This recipe was given to us by someone from the State of Kerala. They use a lot of Coconut Milk and to balance out the sourness from the tomatoes, the sugar is added.

Give it a shot and you'll be amazed by the flavors as were we:)

  • Is it normal for me to get so excited about frying onions?? lol

  • I know what I'm going to make with all the hard boiled eggs from our egg hunt!! Thank you so much for your video. :0) You two are so awesome! Nina :0)

  • Hi Hetal & Anuja. You 2 are doing a great job. I know basic veg cooking but do not know how to tweak the traditional recipe & make them great. But now I have started following your suggested recipes & it turns out to be a hit.Its great when my husband praises for all the effort. Thank U...

  • no sugar please...who adds sugar with chicken masala??? cocont milk + that much oil is a deadly combo...i suggest skip the coconut milk and sugar and its great that way.

  • eggy fart doomsday. looks nice though..

  • This curry was great! Do you have any suggestions on removing the cloves before serving the dish?

  • You can buy some cheese cloth from any American store, cut it into squares, put whole cloves and any other whole masalas/spices in it, tie it and make a little bundle and drop it in the gravy (not in the oil). Take out the bundle when you are ready to serve:)

Other option is to make a powder of the cloves so you don't bite into it.

  • A little bit of sugar brings out the natural sweetness of the coconut milk. Many dishes work well with the balanced flavors of sweetness, saltiness, and tartness (holy trinity, some call it). Of course, it is a personal preference, so you are free to leave it out.

  • Listen Jackass, you don't like the sugar, skip it !!! It is their recipe like it or leave it!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Just who made you KING to decide how something is cooked wrongly???? Its your comment "WHO THE HELL. ...." that pissed me off...still think you are as JACKASS!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You were very rude to the cook with your choice of words, drprasad. Please be mindful of what you say.

  • i didnt like the taste...i think the sugar shouldnt be added as much as these aunties r telling....watever tried something but was waste of time and spices and so many other things....

  • sorry we dont make egg curry for the parties. nobody will like it. it is okay to make in the house only for the family members.

  • last time i checked anyone can have an accent if they want :/

  • I am from far far away, where indian cuisine is generaly an unknow thing. I have been to India twice yet and learned to love it's food. Thanks for the inspiration, I am going to have a great lunch :)

  • Actully!!it not south or North Indian, it has too much of cocnut milk in it... Looks like Thai version of Indian curry.

  • awesome!! god bless u both...

  • wow water in my mouth. great job and thanks for sharing.

  • very nice I appreciate your good job. Which part of US is this??

  • Thanks and we are from Texas!

  • very nice..thanks for the upload :)

  • Shame on you guys. We are Indians so stop all this south and north racism.

  • this is not classic egg curry , its a punjabi dish ,this a south indian style and punjabi food is devoid of cocunut, the original recipe just uses garam masala ,cumin and just haldi.

  • Being a South Indian, I am very offended and I am sure, so are others. Can a South Indian version of Egg Curry not be "classic"? Obviously you are Punjabi. Can you prove that Punjabis invented "Egg Curry"?

  • I don't know if you noticed, this dish is full of curry leaves and coconut...so I guess, according to you, it is a South Indian dish...and no wonder it tastes to good.

  • I am south indian but like north indian food.

  • why do i care?

  • why? because sky is so high.

  • @gizmobaba ignorance is bliss

  • hi this is very good

  • hi we dont have cocunut milk so can we use milk

  • 'Curry' is a word we use for gravy...the combination of coconut milk and the masalas (spices) make the gravy/curry for this dish.

  • it doesn't mention how much curry is been used.
