Yes I agree. Callas' voice was more comfortable in this register. You can still hear the power and the passion with which she sang. i wish she had enjoyed teaching at Julliard more. I think it was the perfect environment for her at this time of her life. But after this master class was finished, she did not return. Instead she pushed herself to return to the concert halls where she was savaged by the critics. I wish they would have left her alone. Viva La Callas!
