  • Sound like blow with your tongue up, ugly...

  • my good god, he melted my face

  • best sax song eva

  • @CoolKevin5 hahahahaha, written for those saxophones which are called "voline"

  • you said that eight months ago...

  • not bad......

  • WHAT? Have your ears failed you?

  • "POPOZEES"

    you are not know classic

  • That was a great and impressive entertainment!! :) haha

  • the intro is insane

  • muito bom

  • この譜面ってどこにありますか?

  • Mica tanto.... a me nn piace!!

  • thats yasuto tanaka the tkwo player isnt it

  • Amazing double tonguing.

  • Clean up the touble tounging...listen to Sinta.

  • eh, on what recordings?

  • live recordings.

  • yes you're right, first time I've heard this on youtube I've thought it is legato because I have an old recording played by Iwan Roth with better staccato :)

  • omg crazy stacatto. Awesome performance, bravo!

  • BRAVO

  • BRAVO

  • I tip my hat to you, young man! There are a couple of small blips in there but any performance will have those and the rest of the piece was amazingly clean! Well done!

  • ...is fine.

  • ...about good music

  • He plays exellent...

how i wish i was like him in playing my saxophone...

  • wow this is the best i've heard

    and i'm a brass player...

  • Saxophones are not only for JAZZ...

  • when we think of saxophone we think of jazz... its that simple. there are classical saxophonists but most are jazz musicians.

  • True, but don't forget that it was originally intended for military ensembles. The great thing about the saxophone though is that it's such a well-designed instrument that it can be played beautifully in pretty much any form of music.

  • Exactly! Saxophones were, and still are, a true work of art - mechanically, visually, and (definitely) audibly.

  • Btw... Make sure you look for the bari sax version of this piece... Played by the same player you see in this video...

  • beauriful! i doesn't know exist partiture for this song

  • His name is Yasuto Tanaka!

He's play Baritone saxophone in Nobuya Sugawa's saxophone quartet(Trouvere saxophone quartet)I'm sure!

  • pero quien es ese tipo joderrr lo que toca el tipejo no me jodas pero si es imposible hacer lo que hace el tipejo ese

    jajajaj

  • superb!! Nobuya Sugawa is one of my favorite musicians, so perhaps I'm a little biased...

  • no bias! he's AMAZING!!! :)

  • Ok- u can't here properly on the fast part every second note.tktktkt-the k is not good.

  • u r not good as him, so shut up!

  • How brilliant sound!

  • He is # one on saxophone. China is showing its potencial in all fields and soon will be on the top of the world.

  • Erm, may I correct you. His from Japan not China. His name is Nobuya Sugawa and he is tokyo kosei wind orchestra principle player for saxophone. Search for beauty and the beast saxophone(the one with the piano accompaniment). His the same guy.

  • That isn't Nobuya Sugawa.

    His name is Yasuto Tanaka.

  • He is a Japanese. TANAKA Yasuto. This video is a concert tour in China.

  • @xicoeloi except hes japanese

  • this is the best performance on sax of Czardas but it's posible better.Wait from me soprano sax Czardas soon-maybe the fast part i cant play like that but the beggining i can do better-japonies can't play folk europian and oriental music. They play like they can and like they understand this music with classical techniqe.but still he is very good.respect

  • c'est dommage dans la partie rapide tout est lié.

  • spectacular! a difficult piece done beautifully!

  • Whow, I didn't know it was possible to play that csardas on the saxophone

  • man, he is god-FOR REAL,he is god ... RESPEСT. I play sax and WOOOOW I can see that FAST csardas on sax is possible... THNX

  • tanaka-san is great! Had a workshop with him and he showed us double/ triple tonguing.... and he plays gershwin very well. if you take a listen to his CD, his vibratos are just wonderful. His set up is YAS875EXG, s90/170 cut,Vandoren 3.5 and a gold plated hand made ligature(somewhat similar to harrison but with enforcement plates)

  • bravissimo great sax samurai

  • Good Saxophone Player

    Yasuto Tanaka

  • good technic

  • it's so uncomfortable playing alto. you're so clenched. tenor is much more relaxing. You can clearly see that he is clenching. btw very well played. extra hard on sax

  • Man, I can't believe the ignorance and stupidity you've put into your comment post. First of all, he's not the least bit tense. His shoulders are completely relaxed, his breaths are nearly motionless, and his sound is free and pure. Secondly, no saxophone is "more relaxing" to play than any other saxophone. "Btw", opinions aren't facts.

  • ok, ok..he's relaxed, his sound "free and pure." still, it's much more relaxing...note the relaxing part, to play a tenor. I'm 187cm tall, so when I play an alto my hands are really pressed up against my body. When I play tenor, on the other hand, my hands aren't as pressed and my elbows can move more expressively. I never said my opinion was fact.

  • amazing

  • good! he plays it stakkato as it must be, but i think it's duble stakkato and on sax better to play regular stakkato like in folk romanian musik.

  • btw its "staccato"

  • woow that is something that i call profesion

  • see?

    apparently they matched

  • The song sounds better on violin, but still pretty good.
