The show "Altar Boyz" has fun with boy-band conventions, and plays up the comedy of what happens when a boy band attempts contemporary Christian music (as well as the misunderstandings that happen between four Christian boys and their Jewish best friend). However, the Boyz' faith is genuine, and the show ends with a really positive message about faith and friendship.
