The carriers the Royal Navy is getting aren't "super carriers". They are no larger than our helicopter landing ships. They perform the same function and have the same capabilities as our landing ships. They shouldn't even be called aircraft carriers since they can't carry real aircraft, just V/STOL and choppers. We have 10 of those helicopter landing ships also called "amphibious landing ships".
Oops I think I was remember stats from your older "carriers", which I would not even call carriers. Queen Elizabeth class carriers look like real carriers but I still wouldn't call them "super carriers". They only carry half the number of aircraft as a Nimitz class. And they can't carry a full range of aircraft. They also don't have catapults so the aircraft can't carry a full load of ordinance, which means you would need 2 or 3 times as many aircraft to do the job.

The carriers the Royal Navy is getting aren't "super carriers". They are no larger than our helicopter landing ships. They perform the same function and have the same capabilities as our landing ships. They shouldn't even be called aircraft carriers since they can't carry real aircraft, just V/STOL and choppers. We have 10 of those helicopter landing ships also called "amphibious landing ships".

Oops I think I was remember stats from your older "carriers", which I would not even call carriers. Queen Elizabeth class carriers look like real carriers but I still wouldn't call them "super carriers". They only carry half the number of aircraft as a Nimitz class. And they can't carry a full range of aircraft. They also don't have catapults so the aircraft can't carry a full load of ordinance, which means you would need 2 or 3 times as many aircraft to do the job.

Those people were dominated by propaganda and in a pretty poor state, so they did not deserve to die. None of the civilians (except those actively encouraging the war for economic reasons) deserved to die on either side because the only reason they supported it so enthusiastically is because their governments brainwashed them.
