How many know James was given his first big break by the Beatles? Apple signed him, '69. A great talent, James, and a great man who's lost absolutely nothing. I sang our children to sleep with Sweet Baby James 30 plus years ago, and I still play his songs when I gig. We won't see his like again. And this is soooo funky. Steve Gadd doesn't hurt. Mercy!
I saw James Taylor at the University of Minnesota in 1986. It was memorable. He started the show on time with no fanfare, delays or ego. Just good music.
I saw him last night in Phx. Wow! His Legend band was ,,,,,legendary. So much energy. He ROCKED! I would love to have James Talor Live from this tour.
What state is this in? I'll be mad if this was in Charlottesville Virginia! (Mad at myself, though I definetely didn't know of James Taylor at that time). Speaking of which, I've only been hearing this song on the radio recently.
Big Ups to JT! Love your music bro'!

Sounds better and even more soulful than the '75 studio version--which I was nuts about.

It was Charlottesville, Virginia, but sounds like before you became aware of James.
