  • How much would you charge for a bead like this at a festival????? I am super new and I want to start lampworking. So are these sold in sets? How much would I get to charge for a set if I went to a festival?

  • Thank you for sharing

  • That is exactly what it is, I have a couple of them out of old PCs and I had my brother cut and polish them down, they work great for smoothing and the ridges on the other site make nice marks in the beads. I do not do the pandora style beads and I just make beads to put in my jewelry. Sadly stocking my etsy store has been too much for me lately as I sell to fast locally in markets and festivals. If you make your own glass beads and want to aquire some mille, just google online :)

  • Hi Laura, I came across this video while looking for into on millefiore. I was wondering, at about 4:35, what is that square thing you are using? It looks like the heatsink from an old pc I had once... anyhow, your video was very interesting to me. I'd love to learn how to do lampwork. I checked out your site on etsy, but there was only one thing for sale? I thought maybe I was in the wrong place. Do you perhaps make those Pandora styled beads? With the .925 silver cores? Thanks. Molly

  • So is that a polymer clay Millefiori bead? Kind of funny, i found myself in front of my webcam wearing funky glasses and listening to techno making glass beads earlier... nice work girl. I checked out your esty page too.. great job. You seem like a festival go-er!

  • Thanks the millefiori is made out of glass as well.

  • u have pretty jewelry congrats and happy early thanksgiving

  • I went to your websight. You make verry pretty jewlery. Do you do the wire work too?

  • Thanks so much :D Yes the wire work is done by me.

  • great vid, you're a cutie too :o

  • I'm thankful to find bead videos using the Hot Head torch. Nice job!

  • Thank you :)

  • excuse me i see that your running the cheapest form of flameworking wich is a hot head torchthat your using and i was just wondering what glass do you use if you know or whats the COE becuase im also new and that that the colors dont stay true if its srictly propane

  • I was using moretti glass here with Benzomatic MAP/Pro gas, I dont use propane.

I also have a nortel Minor, a whole different system. I prefere the hot head for more delicate work.

  • How do you take the bead out of the rod?

  • I wash the mud from the rod and then slide the bead right off. :)

  • be careful with your hair

  • Thank you Candy Ann. Girls and fire are two of my three favorites. You should really look into a lynx from GTT I think you would greatly improve your melt time. Only a suggestion. Post more vids

  • Thanks so much :) I actually have a minor, but its not hooked up yet.

  • Thanks for the vids Candy, I just started flameworking and as it happens I chose to start with a HH before jumping into a Beth or GTT.

    Thanks again.

    P.S.

    Your Hawt!

  • Molto brava!

  • Go hot head!!!! Great show!!!
