Although I didn't know many in Apache Troop, I feel we shared a living hell that you couldn't know unless you were there...Someday, maybe, someone will post the stats of these two troops and the world will know what happened out there...on the border...in "no man's land"...
My dad served in 1/9th B Troop and luckily he made it home. I heard so many stories growing up about the activities of the 1/9th. Thanks for posting this video and honoring these soldiers from 1/9th A Troop who didn't make it home. They were all heroes and the public needs to know that.
I am trying to locate the final resting place of Spc 4 Jeffery Allen Hawk of Troop A, 1st/9th. He was downed on 19 Nov 1967.
