Wow! Our Luke was also diagnosed with CVA, your story is very similar to ours. Thanks for sharing. Looks like Noah is doing well and is surrounded by lots of love. Take care.
Noah is a handsome, strong little man. My son is also a stroke survivor having a stroke in-utero. I am amazed everyday at the things he has accomplished as I'm sure you are with Noah. The fact that Gabriel can walk, talk, and follow two step directions are all things docs said he would not be able to. Your video is a beautiful tribute to your son and thank you for bringing this to everyones attention that strokes can happen to anyone, even babies. What a miracle!
my older sister has hemiplegia too. there is an organization that brings awareness to hemiplegia and CP. every year we have a national (lately just locally) retreat that lasts 3-8 days, in the summer time. we know some kids that also have had seizers and brain surgeries. the older the kid is the more likely he or she will start having seizers that's what happened to my sister, thankfully the seizers have stopped. some others not so lucky, sometimes they have to take half of their brain out.
I tried so hard to get my daughter the help you did get for your son that is shown in this video you made. We are blessed with our children but I can't help but wonder why we couldn't have received the same treatment or opportunities. You must have had excellent health care professionals and very attentive doctors. Awesome video :)
