Pyramid head is a monster created by james to punish himself according to the mithology of silent hill he is related to xuchilbara the red god and so is valtiel who is referred with the magician tarot card since he has the power to influence the world and that's why he can be seen turning valves all the time, xuchilbara manifest differently to each person so it's possible that pyramid head and valtiel be the same or at least be related. The only valtiel like creature that "died" was the butcher.

SH3's a very cool video game. Off the subject, I did a series of concept car designs and named my favorite one "Valtiel". It's a mid-engine bi-turbo V-10 with a full carbon fibre body and chassis (similar in profile and stance to a Koenigsegg CCX or Carrera GT). That name just sounded appropriately badass.
