this is so good! :D I wanted to be sherman (or Bell) in my school's production and ended up playing the clarinet/sax parts and it was so much more involving! on the last night i was doing all the crazy riffs in this song X)
remember actors... without the Music - there is only "Al" in 'Musical' :P
@beltingtokra Yea i feel you!! i played alto, soprano, tenor sax and clarinet for this play and was so involved i had alot of practice to do LOL i did this back in 2005 when i was a senior it was awesome. It was one of my most memorable musical experiences in high school
@MoeChosenSaxPlaya hehe i had to practise alot too XD but it was mostly counting i found hard as the phrases and chords used in the songs are really unusual, so you can't just "feel" when you're meant to come in tbh
this was my favourite song to play on alto, closely followed by the Pas de deux (the tenor solo :) ) and prologue and in LA - I got those high notes in the end! :D
My friend had this part and she did amazing today. She's only 11 but she is fantastic, i know i'm being a bit bias by i think my friend did better by a tiny bit :)
You guys need to hear Betti O., I'll post a video soon...

@beltingtokra all the songs were good! my favorite was these are my children and In LA because of the sax solos lol

@MoeChosenSaxPlaya lmao sax players always love those songs X) they do rock tho :)
i HATED dancing on the sidewalk though, because it was just so fast and repetitive and dull for us, and lots of tricky rests to count :S hehe
i love how on the last nite the sax players always play their solos really loud :D
