@melvoin I prefer the look and sound to the Genesis version substantially, but I think this one has better gameplay fundamentals. It's faster, the stages are more diverse, you don't feel like you're waiting for things to happen as much.

@mentalrectangle I love both versions of Sparkster (AKA Rocket Knight Adventures 2). I love the first game as well, if you've never played it it's significantly harder than sparkster and some of the stages are pretty insanely long! (Stage one you fight i think...3 bosses?)
