My father Had to take me to see the Exorcist when it First came out....

What made it even scarier back then was the People were passing out or running out of the Theater from the Shocking scenes ( which seem somewhat tame today )...

My father was trying to act like "Damn... I got to take this boy to see this movie..."...but the Crucifix Scene finally did him in and he wasn't right for a few days.

It was a Shared National Event......something I'll never ever forget.

It's still a great movie !

Thank's for th list. Must look for those movies. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre scared me. And I liked Death Weekend and The House of Wax (2005). And then I bought a box with some true serial killers (play movies). The one about Ted Bundy was terrible. I must say that I don't mind that they fried him up.

That was a good list. The Exorcist still scares me, also I can't watch Jaws or Texas Chainsaw Massacre by myself! You should see the original Phantasm movie, it's really good!

By the way for all you who want to see a truly horrifying and sadistic modern horror flick: check uit A l'interieur (inside). This movie completely freaked me out, and I have seen allot of horror films. This movie goes way to far and is just so sick that no one will finish watching it feeling ok.
