Government run programs are expensive and not run properly, private business can always do the job better and cheaper. But there are a lot of hard working people out there who are working their fingers to the bone just to get the scraps at the end of the day to feed their families.. My father was one such man.. He's dead now, in large part because of the work he did all his life and pretty much got nothing for. I'm no socialist, but capitalism isn't perfect either.

Companies had better deliver. But if you put your funds in a common pot, government and civil-servants don't really have to prove themselves as much. We get taxed the same no matter HOW the government performs. Government is a mix of honest performers, slackers and crooks. Keep it small!

What you see on Fox News are the extremists of the religion, but like every religion there are extremists, Christianity has extremists so you can't go around saying that Islam will destroy us and that muslims are crazy people. I will vote NDP because one day soon, if others join me, the NDP will get more national recognition. When that day comes, a victory is realistic and federal politics won't be reliant on only two parties.

@mattfactsof911 BULLSHIT!!! The NDP is a "social democratic" party, not a "socialist" party. There's a HUGE difference between the two. Social democrats are basically left leaning Liberals. The idea that the NDP would usher in a kind of Soviet-style command economy and eliminate all personal freedom is LUDICROUS.
