yeah, it gives a different sound then simply playing the chord naturally, it gives it more depth... its kinda like hammering a string while your playing the chord.
its really good for when you play a single chord over and over, because it sounds like your changing chords, so keeps the rhythm going without sounding too repetitive

What are you doing with you fingers as you play the chords- It looks like you take them off and then put them back on. Do you know what I mean?
