Buju has claimed that he made $400,000 from his 2009 U.S. tour. But he also told the Confidential Source, on audio recordings, that he didn't make any money on the 2009 tour.

We do know that the "Miami Reggae Bash" on 10/31/09, which featured both Buju Banton and Beenie Man lost $100,000. Promoters of the "Miami Reggae Bash" blamed Equality Florida, who protested against the event.
All the protests against Buju during the 2009 tour must have cost him some money. We know that the CD he was promoting during the tour, "Rasta Got Soul" and the following CD, "Before the Dawn," have not sold well.

A funny thing happened to Evil Incarnate after they were scheduled to perform at a club in Chicago on December 19th, 2009. After telling the club managers that "Killer of Faggots" was 20 years old, the club managers were told about the currently available "Smashing Rainbows." Evil Incarnate's gig was canceled.
