Paul made a comment during the documentary that the Beatles focused on becoming a good little band. He was right, by focusing inward they became great. How many bands could learn from that. Don't try to be great, try to be good and you can become great.
can you imagine if the beatles still exist ? i mean , they would love to experiment in music with all today's instruments and digital instrument . the revolver albums in my opinions , it's like an album that come from the future , i hardly believe that the 60's technologies can make things like revolver and sgt peppers exist . and thats the prove of the beatles is a quartet professor of music
sry for my bad english , im indonesian and i love the beatles , they've taken my soul :)
The Beatles have taken over my mind, heart, and soul. I wish music today remembered how important it was to just BE MUSIC. Not the music that is now made just because people have money, are beautiful, or famous for being famous. I admit that there are some bands/people out there that will forever fight this with their gifts and struggles, but there aren't enough of them left. Will music ever be free as a bird again?
@HPheroette it is for me. i make music for the love of making music. I've just put out my 5th album. making music is my greatest joy in life. i don't do it for money or fame. never have. If that were the case, i'd be in deep fucking shit! but the truth is, i play for the love of it. i'm 34 years old, turning 35 this summer. i told my mom in 1980, when i was 3, that i was gonna be a rock musician for the rest of my life. i'm still alive. i'm still playing. my mother is very proud of her son.
@ACEDIAMOND666 That's what I mean! Music is your life and you strived for it... unlike some people who got it without as much work as the old classic bands or people nowadays who fought to get where they are. Congratulations on your album! :)
@HPheroette i got news for ya.......the "striving" is a never ending quest. it end when they bury my bones in a box 6 feet underground. until then, i shall stay my course ever onward. thank you for your support.
@HPheroette The Beatles have been changing lives and taking over minds for over 40 years, I'm really glad they have touched you. They have touched billions of people, and they will continue too for as long as humans have music...
Thanks so much for uploading this and others. I have them all on video but can no longer watch them. I have loved them from the very beginning. Magnificent. Thank you.
Funny Story: For the longest time, I mistaken "Free As A Bird" for "Tomorrow Never Knows", Lennon's revolutionary closing track off of "Revolver".
