This is ridiculous. I'm a Christian... but I really don't understand how other American Christians believe this stuff. Luckily the Christians I know from outside the USA can see through these messed up beliefs. The entire argument says that, since the Bible encourages private property, therefore it is Capitalist. There's one problem: Capitalism isn't the only system that allows private property. The only system that doesn't allow PP is Communism. Socialism allows for private property.
@KPattonArt123 The Bible also doesn't allow loaners (banks in todays world) to charge interest, and even all debt is wiped clean every 7 years, and Jewish Law required that all excess profits of a business are given to the workers and the poor. Jesus also commanded his followers to pay taxes (to Rome nonetheless, the worlds biggest government ever). So the Bible isn't quite as clear cut Capitalist as Ameri-Christians would have you believe.
