I have that problem. When a girl is looking at me I look at points but not the whole time she is looking. I just get shy and I feel uncomfortable and maybe insecure. But I get nervous looking at anyone for a period of time in the eyes over time while talking to them. I'm well aware and trying to work on it. I look if she is talking but when I respond sometimes I look away then I look back at her.

The communication is this, "Hi, you caught me looking at you and I don't mind you knowing that I find you attractive." Now, the guy's job is to be aware if the woman is moving closer to him. If so, he does the same and smiles, and starts a conversation. He's got about 1 minute then to make it or break it.
