  • The First time i watched this video here, it was probably 4 years a go, its crazy how my life has changed since then.

  • @DarkAssassin68

    You suck....

  • great song

  • great song

  • sounds like a Downie.... hahahahahahahahaha im so funny

  • He reminds me of morrissey. Downie is more poetic though. Anyway, good song, good pictures. Thanks for posting!

  • @jacobbyrnes I like steven's voice better. but I love gord. The music is similar though.

  • This is a beautiful song and I love your photos. Your clean white stove makes me feel guilty about the slob that I am and I think I need to get out the scrubby things and make mine clean again.

  • sounds so canadian. LOVE IT!

  • listen to gord downie and the country of miracles, so amazing.. got the album in my room! play it every day

  • Sounds like Bens Fold Five a little. But Gord is amazing.

  • every song he has sung, the lyrics, the sound, the dream, unforgetable

  • first open all the doors and the win-das...

ah gord, how we love you so

  • You've probably already discovered it but his new song is East Wind sunpatrol.

  • ICON!

  • Great Canadian Artist! He is coming to the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival this summer! It's going to be great!

  • Whats the name of his new song? I heard it on the radio the other day and it was great.

  • In the softer hours, he's there...

    luvs u ;)

  • I like to sing "Martian armies" instead of "marchin armies". that's just me.

  • i think thats what it is too.. dont really matter though lol

  • I am obsessed with this song. Also, another good one is Bon Iver - Blood Bank

  • great song gordie!!!

  • "Windas" lmao! soooo Canadian, I love it! :D

  • this song is so...dreamy. I love it. GordDownie is genius. such a storyteller...

  • Sounds Canadian doesn't it? And that is meant as a compliment.

  • He is canadian

  • The whole band, "Tragically Hip" is Canadian. :P

Canadians make some of the best music in the world.

When I heard sleeping sickness by City and Colour featuring Gord Downie, I thought is was the BNL though. LoL

  • There's something really unique and special about this song. I don't quite understand the words but quite beautiful regardless. The Gord Downie / City Colour duet on Sleeping Sickness is awesome.

  • great voice,good song

  • I found out just how good Gord Downie was when I heard the song "Sleeping Sickness" by City and Colour, featuring Gord Downie, he really is a brilliant artist!!

  • me too:D:D

  • me three.

  • me four

  • Im pretty sure its like me 45353 by now

  • haha,

    it should be :P

  • me 45354

  • same

  • same

  • Although this is the Greatest song ever made...this isn't the video for it. Gord is supposed to be riding around on a swan boat.

  • i wish someone would upload that one! i remember it being beautiful.

  • Fantastic... tough call but I'd say this is my favourite track on CMG (which in turn is one of my favourite albums ever), and this was exactly the song I was hoping would turn up when I searched for Gord on YT. Great pictures too! Thanks very much.

(PS earthsystem03, just how baked were you when you wrote that?!)

  • Does anyone have videos of the guitarist for The Tragically Hip, Rob Bakers solo band i think they're called Stripper's Union. If you do please post i want to see how they sound Thanks

  • Mr Downie makes me proud to be canadian. fantastic songwriter and poet..

  • I think how the Hip formed influenced how people are expected to act if they are into music re forming bands re they are supposed to play with folk they went to school with-not such an appealing prospect to many I think-myself included-most bands formed when people moved to meet others like minded, not as an extension of what was more or les growing up-like Mr. Gordie here-this song kinda bleak to me-like mediocre greeting card-or an afterthought born on wings of percieved excellence-ouch

  • wicked tune

  • awesome

  • an interesting man, i thought that was an oxymoron.

  • me fucking too!!! thank you so much! coke machine glow is fucking brilliant! what a poet!!!!!!!! love him.

  • I have been looking for this everywhere!!!

  • nice sound :)
