Very beautiful, no surprise though ;-) as I still remember how impressed I was when listening to his performances during the Chopin Competition in 2005.

@TokiShiruAmeNi I too love Nobu's performance at the 2005 Chopin Competition, from listening to his "Chopin Works" CD. Nobu has a 2010 CD called "My Favorite Chopin" where this nocturne can be found, and he performed this piece as encore in Istanbul earlier this month (DEC 2011). To me, it's more than just beautiful - it has a soulful lyricism and an underlying sorrow. I really admire that it's not played with excessive expressions and yet so expressive.

March 11/12. 2011. My heart goes out to everyone in Japan after the massive earthquake and tsunami that happened 12 hours a go.  The Van Cliburn Foundation just posted a note that says Nobuyuki Tsujii is safe, for which I am thankful.
