it sounds interesting, though the animation is unbearable in some points more then others. The art style reminds me of the first Gungrave though that animation in that game's cutscenes where far superior.

The cel-shading style looks cool at first, the animation is stiff and awfully unbearable. They are so bad that a simple scene doesn't even hold up a decent framerate (hence the motion blur during animation). Sound effect (especially the guns and explosions) is dull, can't they find something sound sharper? Not only that, they are on a train and I don't hear wind blowing, the voices are louder than the train sound effect and why the fuck is the music so dim?

First impression is terrible.

Why can there never be any realistic, or even semi-realistic animes?

It's always fucking jumping about flying super ninjas and the plot is almost always bad.

The plot of this is quite terrible but at least it's a different take on most of anime.

Still though, ninjas and all that are better than the shit that makes up 95% of anime, moe romance bullshit.

Try Samurai Deeper Kyo, it has the old historical feeling, and also it has um like good animation, not the really old anime you see in those types of stories.

the kenshin anime wasn't that great, if you ask me, but the OVA was the best anime I've ever seen. "Trust and Betrayal" is the name I believe.
