as someone training to be in the air force, george and ashley exibited some very unprofessional behavior.
reality tv shows aren't fully scripted, but the producers do choose what audiences see, and if you watched season 2, ashley was portrayed worse and worse as the season went on, while george was portrayed better and better. while their behavior throughout the hours and hours not shown may not have changed, the producers made them villians for a time.
I'm going to assume that his ONE weird outburst at Jamie was either taken out of context or just misled. He seemed like a cool guy for the rest of the season, so I think he earned an allowance for one instance of strange behavior.
I love how many comments are trashing Ashley and George. You guys do know that TV shows are edited, right? Just because it's called "reality" doesn't mean watching it will tell you what is really going on behind the cameras. Sad to see how many people waste their time hating on guys who they know almost nothing about. What if Jamie completely lied about being a Navy rescue swimmer and just fabricated all the details to get on the show? It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.
@dahoboman Ashley and George made themselves look bad on camera. Regardless of the cause their conduct was unprofessional and poorly reflective of the U.S. Air Force. Jamie provided his service record on the History Channel Top Shot forum and his Facebook Top Shot fan page; he really is a rescue swimmer.
Ashley thank you for your service and you obviously are an honorable soldier as a Bronze Star recipient.
I only wish you would take that honor and use it in your interaction with others as I feel you acted like a Jack ass in your treatment of Jamie on TS. When it comes down to it, I am more "impressed" with Jamie's training and bio than yours.
@TacoProdigy well to be honest, i think the whole "reality show" thing has an effect on the interactions between the people on set. If there was no "beef" in the first place, the show itself would be rather dull per se. The added drama puts a twist in the show, attracting viewers of all sort and not just avid shooters/fans. That would be my take on it. I am pretty sure hes a down to earth guy when stripped to the basics.

Him and George supposedly had a pact to vote the "worst" shooters into elimination. Then in the .50 cal challenge Ashley records the second worst time and Joe doesn't even hit the target yet Jamie and Jay get sent to elimination; what a hypocrite.
I was an Ashley fan and i really didn't feel like he deserved to be put in elimanation. Yes he did talk crap about Jamie but George did too. George and his big ego needs to go to elimanation. as someone training to be in the air force, george and ashley exibited some very unprofessional behavior.
reality tv shows aren't fully scripted, but the producers do choose what audiences see, and if you watched season 2, ashley was portrayed worse and worse as the season went on, while george was portrayed better and better. while their behavior throughout the hours and hours not shown may not have changed, the producers made them villians for a time.
still, they did act wrongly at times

I love how many comments are trashing Ashley and George. You guys do know that TV shows are edited, right? Just because it's called "reality" doesn't mean watching it will tell you what is really going on behind the cameras. Sad to see how many people waste their time hating on guys who they know almost nothing about. What if Jamie completely lied about being a Navy rescue swimmer and just fabricated all the details to get on the show? It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.

Jamie provided his service record on the History Channel Top Shot forum and his Facebook Top Shot fan page; he really is a rescue swimmer.

@TacoProdigy well to be honest, i think the whole "reality show" thing has an effect on the interactions between the people on set. If there was no "beef" in the first place, the show itself would be rather dull per se. The added drama puts a twist in the show, attracting viewers of all sort and not just avid shooters/fans. That would be my take on it. I am pretty sure hes a down to earth guy when stripped to the basics.

i frikken love this show ive watched every episode of this season and the last season. Ashley and George are kinda dicks tho they think there hot shit. But i like the respectful people on top shot like Chris reed and Brian zin. George and Ashley had to pick on Jamie because they new he was better than them and the only reason Jamie went home was because almost every elimination he was voted. I don't know if they didn't air what Jamie did to them both, but for them to gang up and make fun of a fellow servicemember=not cool. It shouldn't matter if you like them or not. ou're right about that. Ashley talked a big game and he was always ready with an excuse when his ego didn't match up with his true shooting ability. Him and George supposedly had a pact to vote the "worst" shooters into elimination. Then in the .50 cal challenge Ashley records the second worst time and Joe doesn't even hit the target yet Jamie and Jay get sent to elimination; what a hypocrite.

George, on the other hand, has everyone eating out of the palm of his hand. The only elimination challenge he's going to have to go through is the final shootout...
