also when to do HIIT training has been the topic of much discussion...firstly i wouldn't recommend it in a 'semi fasted' state (this could be too catabolic i.e. lose muscle mass)...
i think it's personal preference... you could argue testosterone levels are higher in the morning or that cortisol levels are lower in the evening
or you could argue HIIT in the morning raises the metabolism throughout the day or doing it in the evening stops you going to bed with any excess calories... : )
i would recommend taking them 15 minutes before your run... i know there are studies that claim post workout is better (or some say actually during) but to quote directly from my old university sports science notes, lol 'a study carried out at the University of Guelph in Canada found that as a result of the pre-workout BCAA supplementation, degradation of proteins inside the quadriceps muscles was considerably reduced during (running) exercise'....hope this helps guys : )
Do you take the branch chain amino acid supplements before semi fasted cardio, with a protein shake? Is high intensity training considered less effective in the morning?
I don't understand how this "fitness model" can get work with the percentage of body fat that he has. I know I know, by normal standards this man is certainly not fat, but the type of body needed to model and perform at that level maintains between 3-6%. I'd guess he's between 8-11%. Maybe things are different in England, idk.
really good advice on semi-fasted cardio it always works for me when i need to lose weight and your body looks in great shape can you do more videos on muscle gain
