  • gettin really hard to find a place Sarge unless you know "people"!!

    this used to be a prime hunting area untill people realized it,an old story says that the dam at lake fryar has 3 truckloads of trade blades buried in it used as fill.

    acheologists droool when it flooods...hoping for a washout.Search up the Lake Meredith/Fryar digs going on.

  • Lots of arrowheads are found in North Texas,especially in the Lake Merideth area,since that was where the Alibates quarries are found,also the Lake Fryar area is nfull of artifacts...an ancient city was once found on the west end of lake Fryar,although now it is an official dig site....you can still find points everywhere.

    I do many replications of these type points,Goood Hunting Grant!!!!

  • some nice G10 pieces in there. i love them central texas points i hunt north texas dont find that many at all. most of my finds come from oklahoma and arkansas

  • I hunted centrel texas once, found a beautiful albany knife, i drove thru all the good counties just couldnt hunt had to get back home.

  • great vid. i hunt in a more south-western part of texas, the ranch borders big bend national park and i find some nice points, i work at this ranch over the summer with my grandpa, i have a video with of some of my older points, hope to see some more

  • that point i found scalpcreek told me it was archaic

  • i found a possible archaic arrowhead in fannin county Texas north east of dallas
