  • Very good demo of the tone!!! Good playing, thanks, keep it up!!

  • terve :D mä oon ite ajatellu et ostan tokain les paulin, ite tykkään tommosesta death/black/thrash kamasta mutta harjoittelukitaraksi ainakin aion hankkia, suositteletko? mistä ostit?

  • @Rektivalle Moro!

  • What pedals are you using?

  • @DuskHermit No pedals in the video, but currently I use G-lab GSC-1 for channel and pedal loop switching and controlling midi effects in the amp's effects loop. I use Boss NS-2 noise suppressor and TU-2 tuner. I'm planning on getting something like Damage Control Glass Nexus for effects.

  • hey man! did you make something special for the installation of emgs? I want to put one 81 on my tokai and I dont know if i have to make any hole or something. I would like if you can help me

  • @Golfinnder

Hi, in my guitar there is no extra holes or anything. The battery is in the same space with the pots inside a piece of foam. I'll remind you that you can't use passive and active pickups in a same setup. Also the active set needs its own pots and a stereo jack to prevent the battery from being drained when the guitar is unplugged. There's also a passive EMG-hz if you'd like that sort of sound and be able to use the passive pickup as well.

  • i play 6's fo the low b in standard and a 7 is already pretty low for me, if you like drop tunings try drop the B to F# and drop everything else a have step for a "drop" tuning kinda like C# on a 6, or tune everything down 1 1/2 steps to F# standard

  • @gmbob22 Yep, I just wish I had the motivation to experiment all these with the floyds now..

  • get a guitar with a longer scale length, at least 25.5, i tune to C# sharp with daddario 11's and there not loose at all

  • @gmbob22 Yeah, it would be good, but I ended up with seven-strings, I now have an RG1527 and a K7, maybe I should tune them down to F sharp..

  • Settings for the amp?

  • @RockaRollaZombie

hehe, I can't remember, only that it's on lead hi-gain mode.. Recently I've tried to find better guitars, pickups, string gauges and tunings for myself and also messed around with different amp settings so I change settings almost every time. But in the video it looks like the knobs were something like:

    Gain 6

    Bass 6

    Middle 2.5

    treble 6.5

    presence 1 or 0

    lead volume 4

    master volume 2.5

Now I use an sm57 so I might do a comparison on that random AKG mic that I have in the video

  • With that background and the clothes kinda reminds me of rolento out of street fighter lol.

    Nice vid though!

  • hahaaa i've adapted to it i got a suvere problem with tuning low. my strings damn near drag the floor.. i just addapted to it cuz i was sick and damn tired of poppin new strings messin with a floyd rose.

  • is that the zakk set 70-13's??

    sound massive heavy man!

  • Nope, just D'addario 56-13'. Difficult to play, they're pretty loose.
