@ourLIFErecords click the small arrow on the very top left corner of the fpc and a menu should pop up and click the selection that says "save preset as"

Hey I have a problem. When I record the automation and score with my mpd 18 it doesnt transfer the notes into the piano roll exactally when I hit them; rather it puts them into the nearest of the 16 little slots that are available for making a simple pattern right when you open fl studio. This makes my beats choppy, and I can't seem to figure how to get it to record into the piano roll. Someone please help if you have any advice!

I didnt know that you could chop long samples with edison, i been doing it the hard way by saving each loop i wanted as a wave file, and then moving it the FPC. EVERYBODY ON YOUTUBE IS SLEEP. Lol the best way to sample is to use Slicex to load the song and put markers where you want your chops at. Take out the lower bass by setting the resonance to zero and adjusting the cutoff knob until the lowest bass is out. Easy.

@TheButteryMe Assign a sound to desired pad, look where near it says "cut by" and you should see a button labeled "midi note", click that and scroll to the left and it should say "learn", press that and then press the desired key you wish to assign it to. and your good just do that for all sounds. theres a faster way but i think this way is more accurate for your personal style. enjoy

@RaminMe2 Q-} and Z-M work, and some keys between A-L just wont work at all. In "midi note" select "Map notes for entire bank" and just press random keys to see which ones make a sound.

@TheButteryMe Make sure that you have the Typing keyboard to piano option is turned on. If not go to the top of FL Studio and select Options and make sure "Typing keyboard to piano" is checked.

Fruity Loops is set up at note/octave C4 starting at letter Z on your computer keyboard going up. For example letter Z = C4, X = C4, C = E4, and so on up the scale. Insert Fruity Keys into a channel after you've turned on Typing keyboard to piano and play around with it

FPC comes with every version of FL. if you're using a midi keyboard, map out the first 16 keys starting from the left. it works for the white or black keys.

yo u can pretty much link any knob in fl to any controller knob, jus right click on the knob in fl u want to use, click link to controller (that's it), than just move the knob u want to use on your controller and now that will control it

@DJEMPEROR100 the way i did it fo fl studio is to put a sound that you want on the fpc pad. once you do that got to "learn" on the fpc. once u do that hit the pad, or key on your controller that you want that note to be controlled by. voila! now you have mapped the sounds to whatever pads or keyes that u want.
