when you got your new scope and one pice mount did you have any troubles with the scope falling off and did you have any troubles sighting in your gun with your new scope?

@barfbag82 not on this particular model. there are many other models that do, but they cost more, and if you dont get a good quality one, which is generally more expensive, it doesnt look that well

@Thatkid5465 If I actually like the Gamo Bigcat I would but I dont really like it. The scope that comes with it is shit and i'm much more accurate without it even considering there are no iron sites on the gun.

@Thatkid5465 its 1150 to 1200 fps with pba pellets. but i wont recommend them because since theyre so light, when the spring hits the pellet, it doesnt have enough resistance force and it damages the spring.

@MrYamamama for one thethe spring never actually hits the pellet. two the spring doesnt get a damaged from it but the seals on the gun does. and three i dont think gamo would produce a pellet light enough to actually damage a gun. the only realson i wouldnt recomend these pellets is becasue they are expensive and very unaccurate for most guns.

@MrPelletgunguy Game big cat is probably better. ive never used a storm xt but it seems like its just like a crosman quest which from reviews seems like a bad gun. i would get a big cat just because you can put a grt 3 trigger in it

@starr101010 well it all depends on what ur looking for...3-9 tends to be cheaper and is what i use because pellet guns aren't very high powered and don't shoot very far. 4-12 on the other hand cost more and and i would probably use one on like a 22 or .17 hmr or maybe a pcp pellet gun. depends on what your looking for though

ummmm you messed up its not 9 to 10 fps its 1000 with 7.4 grain and 1200 with PBA ammo even though its just over 1000fps with PBA and upper 900 fps with 7.4 grain lead pellets the 1k or 1200 fps is just an estimate there is no gun under 500 bucks thats a air rifle shooting over 1300 fps except for the benjamin super streak and even with PBA pellets its only hitting a little over 1300 fps

@1gamoguy yea i no i messed up on that and with what you said about the pellet speed estimation they only say it shoots that fast for advertisement because the could just chrono the speed but everyone wants a fast shooting gun so a gun shooting 1000 is cool and there are a couple of pellet guns out right now hitting over 1000 and i dout the super streak can hold good groups though

@1gamoguy but if your talking about break barrels there are not as many shooting as fast as pcp guns but the maruader is under 500...the halestorm is under 500 and they both shoot really good and can prbably go over 1000 fps with pba pellets but they probably can't hold good groups at all

no scope rings do not come with this scope but some scope rings come with the gun since the gun comes with a scope and they will work with the leapers scope i just chose to get these new scope rings

the leapers scope or the stock scope? the leapers scope is great and won't come unsighted i guess you could say...most scopes stay sighted in fine unless it's a 20 dollar scope and the stock gamo scope is great to

yea its pretty good i havnt been shooting it lately its been realy windy but i cant wait to get out again and start shooting. i've shot a couple penny's but i never found them after i hit them and one day my cousin shot a penny and we found it shattered into about 5 peices lol its pretty good gun

hey man..good review..

stuff the butt off the rifle with foam or bed stuffing..it makes it feel great and stops the twang noise after a shot is fired.. it also makes the rifle balance out and not move around while aiming.

yes it is hollow...but hey man just add some bed stuffing or cotton...ive tried it and it makes the gun sound smoother and feel smoother... over all its a great rifle..

@chrisw40 yea i just did it probably like a week ago and it was my first time and it was very easy...there are a couple youtube videos showing how to do it so i recomend watching them so you dont mess your gun up at all
