@flwheel3 Which Spetsnaz? there are tens of brigades regiments... It's a special force. In army Spetsnaz GRU, they mainly do recon and special missions. FSB has spetsnaz. MVD VV has Spetsnaz. GRU also has Spetsnaz in NAVY. VDV also has one spetsnaz regiment almost same as GRU.

Yes, in combat a soldier will feel pain if wounded, but inflicting it is not necessary to understand that.

@sammniactually this type of training was used to make the soldier resistent to incredibly high and realistic levels of pain and trauma. its much more reasonable now though seeing as how they seem to have removed having to crawl through blood up to their mouths. the difference is they were made into superior fighters and individually acting super soldiers whereas our green berets were raised to be tactical soldiers that while great at certain things could only truly function as a team.

Well you have to realize that the Marine Corps would not beat these people for one, as you have said. This is just their Martial Arts. And this is entertainment, as it said in the start of the video. Second, these people have other training, and go through the toughest training of all other special forces go through, even the Seals.(Except for the Brittish, then again. It may not be harder. Who knows?
And lastly, Spetznas is the Umbrella term for all of the Russian special operation's forces.. There are many branches of the Spetznas, Including the Vityas, and Alpha Group. Also the Russians are not as concerned with inhumane practices as the U.S.A is. The Russian Spetsnaz are put through much more brutal training the the U.S marine core, and the Navy SEALS.

Ability to achieve req'd level of fitness/toughness is in (most) everyone, through any number of martial arts schools. Within 2 years (slow/normal pace) or a year, even half, if done intensively - it's likely within you as well.
Can be done as young as 14-16+ (done it myself, not in Serbia - no offence, but not a 'fan'), all the way to old (say 50+, seen it done). "Just do it!" ;) cheers

@flwheel3 Which Spetsnaz? there are tens of brigades regiments... It's a special force. In army Spetsnaz GRU, they mainly do recon and special missions. FSB has spetsnaz. MVD VV has Spetsnaz. GRU also has Spetsnaz in NAVY. VDV also has one spetsnaz regiment almost same as GRU.

I find this training to be pointless. In the U.S. our training is designed to make a soldier hardened, callous, and tough but not to injure them. What good is a soldier with musculoskeletal problems? This training has too great of a chance of inflicting injury to be truly effective. Some tactics in their training are certainly useful but the hard physical abuse has NO point in my opinion. Yes, in combat a soldier will feel pain if wounded, but inflicting it is not necessary to understand that.

Our country held the first weapon of mass destruction, russia did not. We developed BETTER aircraft then they have, we had a better economy then they had. The American has pride and strength as well though. We have so many different cultures and backgrounds. To say "we have more pride and strength" is a stupid generalization. @sammniactually this type of training was used to make the soldier resistent to incredibly high and realistic levels of pain and trauma. its much more reasonable now though seeing as how they seem to have removed having to crawl through blood up to their mouths. the difference is they were made into superior fighters and individually acting super soldiers whereas our green berets were raised to be tactical soldiers that while great at certain things could only truly function as a team.

@AJlord1 this fact is widely accepted amongst them even today. its the factor of teamwork that allowed the berets to be victorious. but statistically speaking all things considered a second round between russia and the us would be catastrophic on a global scale. bad for both sides and no one wins. so shut up.

@sammni spetsnaz are special forces units, all of this they receive on top of regular military training to push them beyond the breaking to ensure they can handle any situation without succumbing to fear, pain, or any other emotion or physical discomfort

First of all to any ppl who belive this shit is better than Americas ur dumb.This is thier Martial arts not there complete training dont say america relies on bla bla.Russias combat system is somwhat some copy of the chinese do breakin bricks and shit.Thyre just jumping,kicking,and punching thats not combat.Traditional Arts like tkd,krte,etc are not suitable for combat.LOOK UP MCMAP for the Marine Corps any advnced mcmap black belt would whop these mofos

Well you have to realize that the Marine Corps would not beat these people for one, as you have said. This is just their Martial Arts. And this is entertainment, as it said in the start of the video. Second, these people have other training, and go through the toughest training of all other special forces go through, even the Seals.(Except for the Brittish, then again. It may not be harder. Who knows?

And lastly, Spetznas is the Umbrella term for all of the Russian special operation's forces.. There are many branches of the Spetznas, Including the Vityas, and Alpha Group. Also the Russians are not as concerned with inhumane practices as the U.S.A is. The Russian Spetsnaz are put through much more brutal training the the U.S marine core, and the Navy SEALS.

For some reason there's a lot of foreign fan boys who live in America.. all of these guys (FFL, SAS, Spetsnaz, and so on) are definitely some bad ass dudes but c'mon, have some pride in your OWN country or get the hell out. Spetsnaz might seem 'cooler' because of how ruthless they are but at the end of the day groups like SAS and CAG save more lives in hostage rescue situations and I'm sure if you were being held hostage and a HRT came in shooting up the whole room you wouldn't be too happy
