very nice. ive been working on funk, just cuz i like the style a lot, and its really good practice for muting and stuff (which im not very good at) this was amazing.
You're a talented guitarist without a doubt. You do however need to fiddle around with the settings of your amp to put a bit more depth in your sound. As it is, your playing seems very dead and hollow. You should check out a guy by the name of Tomo Fujita for a good example of the tone quality you should be after. He will blow your mind, I guarantee it.
GREAT TECHNIQUE!!! But thats the problem with funk guitar nowadays is we try toooo much and we dont really get the point across. Its better to stick to one chord and ad lib then trying to do too much. Your hella good tho. Keep it up.
Man, I love funk .. it's a lot harder than people think to do it well, with fills and what-not. I know a ton of metalheads that can play 600bpm but couldn't scratch their way out of a paper bag, let alone on a guitar.
cool, sound better without the effect..... i think anyway

I believe that you must to practise more, and for the next time, try to listen to a good guitar of funk before calling funk to ill-treating the ropes
