These sleds haul ass but they have are nothin but trouble. I have had 3 of them and the first 1996 600 had 2000 miles on it and blew up twice, the second one one of the cylinders melted down with 3500 miles, and the third one just stopped running no matter what I did to it at 2700 miles. They r fast but everyone has trouble with them and they r so unreliable. nice sled tho
@Lorkman2 i love my xlt only problems ive really had with it is the recoil but i got over 5000miles on it and i dont take an easy on it either love playing in gravel pits lol
the old school polaris triples like this start up like a charm when they have been sitting. my xcr 600 sat for over 3 years i put a lil oil in each cylinder before i put it away and it started in 11 pulls after sitting for that long
got a 96 xlt sp, just a tip, before you start these triples pull the recoil over a few times very slow, it gets oil into the cylinders and also prevents the recoils from pulling out. common problem on them. It will also start alot easier
what was that 11 pulls till it poped and 16 till running??... very nice buddy!!!

i just started mine up last weekend it was sitting since last febuary it started in like 4 pulls i was pumped.
