The video is wrong, the Chinese did not 'decide to help out'. The soviet union specifically instructed Mao Zedong to -not- help North Korea, but did not do so publically. However, Chinese along the boarder volunteered to assist the Korean's, and Mao did nothing to stop them, such a thing from the chairman of the communist party essentially means a thumbs up. The Americans were mostly fought back because MacArthur, one of few to rank as '(6 star)general of the armies' left himself open to attack.

You can easily tell that this is not a government propaganda ad for two reasons: 1. No video footage from North Korea is from such high quality. 2. North Korean propaganda ads won't allow any form of mockery of Kim Jong-il.
