at 00:29 saving that clock-arm from falling on people is much important but at 00:33 with that same arm he causes some damage and building's hard stone pieces fall down which he didnt care of? well still a great film!
Superman would just pick up the train and place it elsewhere or fly behind the train and pull it til it stopped. Superman definitely would have handled this cooler but that's the charm of Spider-Man. He's not a God, he just has enough power to do something about it. It's what makes him more human than Superman... except that he is actually human...
I kinda got tears over my eyes when I first watched this epic scenery long time ago. I love you Tobey, without you I won't even watch the new spiderman movie.
if i wanted to change the music, i would have used the inception score. but this... im sorry dude, but this cant even come close to the films original score lol
The music isn't bad, but it's not as good as the original music that Christopher Young did for the train sequence in "Spider-Man 2". Good job with the editing, though.
Leave it to the purists yet again to slam someone for sharing their opinions and ideas. The song synced really well, but it did take a little bit getting over it's obvious marching band tone over a more orchestrated piece. Replace the horns with strings, hook 'em up with some kettledrums, and it'd be like that, but I'm not picky, I'll take this version, too. Overall, nice sync up.
Why the heck does everyone think that the first two movies where composed by Chris Younge, they wher composed by Danny Elfman, in my opinion is a better composer, Chris you composed the third movie, he is good too though.
@sirnippip They're not exacly mixing it up because Chris Young worked along side Danny Elfman in SM2, a few of these tracks(specifically the train fight music) were composed by Young whereas Danny Elfman worked on most other tracks of the score(although so many of his tracks kept getting rejected because some re-recorded cues from the first film fit some scenes better to Raimi)
Hence why Elfman felt uncomfortable with the music and stepped down for the 3rd film so Young could take over fully.

Put the lady in the water music over this but put it three seconds behind when the video starts. Its called "The great Eatlon" Some bits seem like it was made for it.
@Sepharite That's why the third movie was scored by Chris Young actually, Elfman and Raimi had a dispute because Raimi wanted Elfman to emulate one of Young's score for a scene and rejected a lot of Elfman's material. Elfman reportedly told him "You want it to sound like Christopher Young? Then go get Christopher Young!" Wich Raimi did.
@rancor022 actually nathajoon is right, danny elfman did compose MOST of the score for the movie, but christopher young composed the score for the train fight.

Eh......not so good. At least not as good as the original. This score has far less emotional and tension than what is needed for a scene like this.

Wow, I also would like to point out that placing other music in a scene does not constitute "scoring" or "re-scoring" of any sort.
On the other hand, here is a Spiderman3 trailer that I re-scored.....meaning I wrote the music...notes and all
