  • I'm guessing it's b/c of copyright. in addition to being the intellectual property of various companies, technically people aren't allowed to use more than a 30 second clip of a non open domain song, with proper citation and permission. Either that or it's random, or a false rumor, take your pick.

  • I've always considered "anime" to be Japanese in origin. It's possible that something done in that style can be considered anime no matter where it comes from, but "Family Guy" certainly isn't done in that style.
