If your unit comp can a-move and don't require flanks and smart thinking etc etc, something is wrong.... Just my 2 cents though. Not saying that they are imba, just better then zerg right now.

@the3bigreddevils of the t1 units Protoss does have the strong, and cost efficient units. However mid-late game units (after tier 1.5) gives Zerg the heavy advantage. Muta harass, brood lords, ultras, all are strong units that can be produced en masse. (Not so much the brood lords), but strong zerg players can remax quickly after a battle. A-moving across the map is suicidal for Protoss, positioning is key v. zerg for protoss players.

@palookable The only unit that is really cost effective is the mutas and that involves heavily on your strategy on how to use them..... Just another reason for protoss to get blink which you dont really even need a reason for it cause its that good which is too good of a response to to many z units i feel. I do feel its necc to deal with muta harass though as its quite annoying, especially at higher levels..... Ultras are terrible and not cost efficient what so ever unless your in a zvt vs mech

But when I do zerg, I like to do the population trick by setting a lot of spines with some of my drones, then get extra army units, but then cancel the spines to keep the economy going. It does cost a little extra for the boost in units, but to have 8 extra roaches can be quite an advantageous situation. That is what I think zerg players should work on employing the most.

@Necronty depends a lot on the timing you know. Fruitdealer has done it. So obviously it must have some purpose to it. Just saying. And not to mention having 8 extra roaches helped me win a match a couple of times, so it is proven to help bc you outnumber your opponent by doing it. It depends on if you can not match your opponent and you have lots of resources building up though. That is all I'm saying okay. I'm not a wizard of Starcraft 2, so just get over what I said plz.

@sn299 Happened to me a few times, granted it's like 3 leagues lower but I find it funny how generally bad players try to judge balance of the game when they've not nearly enough understanding. I'd say you'd need to be at least High Master in 1v1 to attempt judging balance, and even then I have disagreements with some GM's (specifically IdrA) about balance. I don't mind all that much though because his views on scouting make sense, and it was a while ago in a less evolved metagame. :D

@messi996 Definitely. I use the term "high masters" loosely though as eventually not all great players will fit into the GM league and some will end up being left for the Master League, despite there being a huge difference in skill.

They'd end up fighting GM's anyway :P
