I was in an Italian restaurant yesterday on Long Island and they used one of these to grate cheese onto my meal. The cheese came pouring out of this thing. When I comented on how well it worked, the waiter gave me a tip. He said if you cut the cheese up into smaller chunks first, it works very well. If not ..... Much more difficult to use. So, there you have it.
Zyliss makes a grate product. I prefer their "All Cheese Grater" with fine and coarse drums. It lists for $25 but can be had on Amazon for $16.13. The "Classic Cheese Grater" (which is featured in the video) is $15 at Target.

Wow. This is amazing. I love cheese graating. Been doing it for all of my liffe. Trying to find the best grater. And i think this sure comes close. The rotation, The sharpness, The look: All magnificent. This is one top quality cheese grater
