i watched this before i wrestled my first match in counties, i broke my foot in the first period but kept going...unfourtunatley i lost and got pinned in the second but think of this, if u got a sport where u can have broken limbs, torn ligaments and almost no odds to win at all, but u can stil go out there and u can still go out there and fight like ur life depended on it, than i say that tht man is a tru athlete in the toughest sport of the world...thts my view on what wrestling is

I think the reason I fell in love with wrestling is not only because it is a beautiful sport and a challenge. But it teaches you so much about just being a better person and learning a lot about yourself and others. There is no other sport that will teach you so much about life.
For wrestling you need to be tough like a football player, have the stamina of a distance runner, the mentality and focus of a surgeon while you try to beat that other guy all by yourself. Once you beat him you get the greatest satisfaction and it's all worth it

i dont get it i have been involved in many different kinds of sports. but Wrestling is the best sport there is out there. better than basketball, football, rugby ect. Yet Wrestleing is just more than a sport, it changes you. people may say that its wierd or that its too HARD. well its not how hard the work is, its the amount of commitment, risks, and sacrifices your willing to make to go beyond your limits and keep going.

man this has got me so pumped. i dont even care if today is a holiday out of school i cant wait for practice in the next hour. i started wrestling last year, my junior year in high school. now that im a senior i want nothing more than to be remember by my classmates as a good wrestler. this sport has brought a stability to my life, a new meaning where i was otherwise hollow and insecure. now everyday i wake up for wrestling, and every night i dream of being state champ. ive got a long way to go

Everytime I watch this video, after I'm five watching it I want to wrestle!! Wrestling teaches u how to be physically and mentally tough. Are conditioning are the toughest(water polo too) are mentality is the smartest. Wrestling teaches u so much about life and becoming a better person.

I think the reason I fell in love with wrestling is not only because it is a beautiful sport and a challenge. But it teaches you so much about just being a better person and learning a lot about yourself and others. There is no other sport that will teach you so much about life.

For wrestling you need to be tough like a football player, have the stamina of a distance runner, the mentality and focus of a surgeon while you try to beat that other guy all by yourself. Once you beat him you get the greatest satisfaction and it's all worth it

The video is very inspiring and wonderful music in the background, if I remember correctly the song was playing at the end of the movie when Russell Crow was dying in Gladiator .... I hope I can wrestle like this someday. I've been workin on throwin in legs all summer and this just got me so pumped. I believe, wrestling is the toughest sport to lose in without a doubt. Cause even if you're better than a guy you're wrestling and you make a small mental error, it's over. And it's tough to not get so absolutely pissed at yourself for losing every now and again.
