amazing...i'm a 15 year old girl from england and i went to rome with my parents for the concert. i didn't know much about genesis before the concert...but it was fantastico :) the amount or people there was unbelievable and i enjoyed it so much.and i enjoyed sight-seeing in Rome for a few days. amazing concert, amazing city, amazing country!

Non è Banks a perdere il tempo nell'assolo di Frith Of Fifth, ma Collins. Lui fa quello che può per stargli dietro. Te lo dice un musicista. Collins aveva confessato qualche anno fa al TG2 di avere problemi di udito e di non riuscire più a sentire bene il tempo.

how close to the stage were you ? cos i was there and i was in the little center bit, where that little van came up for the water. Well thanks it was an amazing concert! I went to Manchester as well.

manchester was excelent,i loved it,just think their music was superb,the best live band in the world and i went to london to live8,and genesis were better than all the bands at london put together!!!

scattz, i was north tower, 2nd tier at manchester,so i was to the right of the stage but high up in the stadium, it was a great view, but iv just got some photos from ebay, and they were taken 20 rows back from the stage, the quality are excellent and looks like they were taken from the stage on some of them, great shots of phil c.

PS: is it reall so important if there was 500.000 or 700.000 people, are the lights were awesome ??? I guess people should go to a concert to LISTEN to the music

It has its importance.. being in the middle of many, many people creates a very particular atmosphere, while good lights + good visuals puts the music to a higher level: not only your hearing is being stimulated by the music, even your vision is being stimulated and can really, really help you enjoy the whole concert even more.

That's another possibility, but it really depends on the artists: I personally understand when an artist sucks even if he/they have the best lightning and show ever.. but I'm kinda very critic, musically speaking..

If the dramatic scenary matches the music I'm ok with that, but I guess lately the music it's more about gathering more people as possible somewhere in a wonderful place with a fantastic show. 9 people out of 10 talk about an amazing show, wow ! how many people ! ... 1 person talks about the music. That doesn't mean the music is not good, but actually the audience is losing touch with it

Genesis in Rome was amazing!!! We were so lucky to find out about the concert when we were there and that it was for free!!! It was so impressive to stand between 500.000 ppl .thanx for sharing it

i wish i went to roma,went to manchester 2wk ago and that was fabulous! how come you italians get a free concert? is it because you were the first nation to open your arms to genesis in the aerly days? no matter, many many thanks for sharing this with us!!!
