I'm gay and I would love to find a man who had some Alan Rickman qualities, especially that voice. just wow. And as others have mentioned, he can eat crackers and do whatever the hell he wants in my bed. No gun pointing here. Also, Sigourney is my favorite actress of all time and it was a joy to see the wonderful chemistry she and Alan had. I hope they do another movie together.

My daughter used to quote this all the time. She was about 6 when this came out so I didn't let her watch the whole movie but she saw this scene and quoted it for ages. Now we both quote from the scrabble scene when spiderman has to fight a "k-thing". We always use the word "k-thing" because it makes us laugh.
As for the confusion. I think that's how a lot of parents feel when they're learning to deal with an autistic child.
I loved Rickman playing this character. I saw so many boyish traits in this character, it was cute. He is also hysterical in some scenes. Also, Sigourney Weaver was brilliant for playing this.

I'm so sad, because I can't watch the movie, the reason why I can't watch it, is that the movie theaters here in Germany don't show it anymore.. so I have to wait a long time..
I have this movie and just watched it 2 days ago. She was not speaking in such a high pitched tone in this clip on the movie I saw. In fact if you pay attention, Alan doesn't sound right either?
Well I'm not sure about that...Coz I don't hear any significant difference. I love this clip! Linda's character was so cute, I just wish everyone could be so frank. Alan and Sigourney had the best chemistry!
