yea, fix the "lag" (it's actually a CRAPPY FRAMERATE) by going to Options -> Frame Skip-> None.

Here is how you fix the sound with aud.dll. Go into File>Properties>Direct Sound Plugin. Make sure the Audio Resampling quality is on 22050 HZ. Set syncronize to Syncronize (Best quality). Then Buffer should be on 2 sec.
