@randomguitarstuff56 this pedal and the Jet Driver are meant to do two very different things. the Jet Driver is a distortion pedal. this is more about fattening up your guitar's sound... not necessarily distorting. though, i bet it would do a good job of driving a tube amp.
something that WOULD be comparable to this, though, would be the Tube Screamer. look into that one.
@CTMetalhead95 I don't think you understand man. Alot of people use overdrives with hot tube amps, or even good solid states. It's not to introduce more gain into the signal, quite the opposite actually (most people when doing this turn the pedal gain to 0 or 1), but more to tighten up the low end, and really thicken the mids. Read up on it if you get a chance. It makes good amps sound even better,
@flankerchris7 Djent needs cranked mids, while retaining that low end twang. This pops the mids, but makes the guitar sound bigger and fatter, just like in djent.
Bought one of these. Different and cool.

How would this sound compared to the other OD pedals in front of, Oh I don't know, a 6505+?

is the first setting just it or is it on top of a dirty amp or another pedal or something?

Can it be TOTALLY clean though? If you want the fatness but NO added gain at all?
Botdra 1 year ago
@Botdra just get an eq then
alapunk13 1 year ago
@alapunk13 That's not the same thing. An EQ will add unwanted noise compared to this pedal. This pedal isn't simply an EQ.
Botdra 1 year ago
@Botdra no, I meant just an eq if your purpose is just to fatten up your sound
alapunk13 1 year ago
@Botdra I know I'm not gonna win this arguement so, Yeah you're right, whatever it is that we were talkin bout :)
alapunk13 1 year ago
@Botdra You're right, But a good EQ pedal and a decent OD can take u farther than a great OD pedal can
