Secondly... Admitting the brain isn't digital so this analogy isn't perfect, a trillion bytes (8 trillion bits) is a terabyte, which I say is inadequate to store or process the human experience. (To me.)
Thirdly... It's not an argument at all as I'm not attempting to convince. I'm explaining the basis of my position, because you asked. There is zero evidence either way so any position is equally valid.

It is particularly relevant that there is no evidence one way when the other side is equally without evidence. 2) Not an argument AT ALL. Disagree if you wish. 3) Again, not an argument AT ALL. Disagree freely.
If I ask you how many beans are in a jar, and you don't take measurements, it is perfectly legit if you respond "I think between 500 and 700" without evidence.

@pburto 1) If one makes an hypothesis (There is a mind/brain duality) we should test it. At present neurobiologists pretty much agree that the mind is nothing more than an emergent property of our neuronal activity. Your claim that "there's no evidence against the position of duality" is both contradicted by the evidence and is itself a logical fallacy - it's called the Appeal to Ignorance.

2+3) The Argument from Incredulity is a logical fallacy that involves faulty logic. You are committing this fallacy in your reasoning. The fact that you don't recognize your own position as a (faulty) logical argument is not my fault. You are saying that, for you, the complexity of the human experience cannot be simply accounted for by the trillions of connections between our neurons, therefore there must be something else. This is a textbook case of the argument from incredulity. Look it up.

@39 i miss the fellowship of the church. sitting around other people who share the same opinion as i do about something, talking 2 people who otherwise wouldn't hav spoken 2 me. facebook is great, but i'm a lonely person with 3 real-life friends and miss being part of a group, in person, that meets once a week. i'd talk 2 a few people then go home and i was happy with that.

I think that's a real good reason why people get uncomfortable w those things, they just don't see it enough. Maybe if it were more of a norm we'd find it more easy.
