After putting forth my opinion then reading everyone else's I've come to the conclusion that regardless if you do drugs or not, this life could care little to none as to how you manage and maneuver your way around life. For all I know tv is perhaps a drug in some folks lives, for the obese I'm guessing it's food. Next time you make a generalization, you might want to start off with "in my opinion" or "I think" because what you just said is exactly that. I know far many athletes that smoke weed and compete than alcohol or tobacco combined. The real information is out there, you just have to find it. In my case marijuana does improve my jiujitsu performance.. i dont get high and go to a sparring session of course. But when i'm high i enjoy thinking of jiujitsu moves/tactics even more and afterwards i implement them in my sparring sessions.
Im from holland and smoke weed almost every day. It's not something Im proud of nor is it something Im ashamed of but this does mean that you can trust me when I say, that this guy is absolutely right. I do NOT take pain killers, I actually go to a wellness doctor who is a chiropractor who's job is to keep you healthy BEFORE you get sick by making you as healthy as you can be and keeping your body at it's mazimum level of health. Ive practiced no gi bjj and muay thai, and weed did not do anything to my game except possibly relax my mind which was SOMETIMES helpful for grappling. Yeah, I never understood weed as a pain killer. I suppose if you're high you're not thinking of the pain and it helps that way. Like, if your back hurts, smoke a J and sit on the couch, you prob won't be thinking of your back pain.
If I'm exerting a lot of energy tho, I tend to focus on the pain and it bothers me more. If that makes sense

@konsepWT I love weed, I just think it needs to be promoted to be used in moderation but my main point was all the people on youtube criticizing him for what was generally a positive message to children. I don't think kids should do it and I don't want it to be like alcohol , which is a problem. I know quite a few people who smoke weed instead of go to school or work. Like the Cookie Monster would say "cookies (weed) are a sometimes snack"

It also kills cancer cells while healing the cells around said cancer. It also can help cure diabetes! and also, there has never been one reported case of over dose from mushrooms! Nobody has ever died from cannabis! Natural is good!

Some ppl prob feel it helps more with the mental aspect of it, not so much the physical. I personally find I gas quicker if I'm high. It also also exagerates any small pain or discomfort. Like a sore back or sore muscles. IMO

There is no problem with using pot, I've smoked it for years.
Now Eddie Bravo and Joe Rogan are indeed stupid to say it helps in any way and if it did help you, then it should be baned because it would be considered a prerformance enhancing drug.
Bottom line Comprido is wrong by criticizing the use since there is nor problem with smoking it and Eddie is dumb for thinking it improves anything, never did for me in playing other sports so I don't see a reason why it would help in BJJ.

In my case marijuana does improve my jiujitsu performance.. i dont get high and go to a sparring session of course. But when i'm high i enjoy thinking of jiujitsu moves/tactics even more and afterwards i implement them in my sparring sessions.

Im from holland and smoke weed almost every day. It's not something Im proud of nor is it something Im ashamed of but this does mean that you can trust me when I say, that this guy is absolutely right. Still Bravo does have some legit techniques but the whole weed philosophy is pure him trying to justify his drug use to himself, the same way Rogan does. Dont get wrong I love weed but don't fool yourself.
