I always thought Rumpleteazer was so adorable. When I saw this when I was little I always wanted to be that roll. And we did this musical for school when I was twelve I got cast as her and i was so happy. It was so much fun! :)

and in my opinion mungojerrie is the hottest cat!!! he's just so cheeky and has so much personality...If you watch him throughout the whole film he is ALWAYS in character...like when they are singing as teh 'sophisticated choir' he's still doing his awesome facial expressions haha

Hmm...that's kind of interesting! Did everyone do good accents? Because sometimes that can be the line between a good production and a bad one. If everyone is really bad at doing accents, and insist upon using them anyway, it can get really irritating to listen to after a while... :)

well it was only a production that could seat not many people because it was part of our drama exam haha and so they couldn't have anyone talking or anything ..it was just on show for the people that were doing drama next year

there was a girl that didn't even have to try and put on a cockney accent..she already had one haha so she made sure we all did it right

we all got like 85-90% for the voice so i guess it was alright

not evry1 does cockney in this show, i've seen it live, and thats the only song which has cockney accents cos it fits in with the type of songs, they hav diff accents 4 evry1, like an american 4 the rum tum tugger and girly 4 macavity

You'll see them singing in a recording studio.

There's no way they could sing that perfectly AND do all the superb dancing :]

The whole thing was filmed over a few days and they picked the best bits. That's why on some bits random cats in the background suddenly appear out of nowhere lol

We are the first set of Non profit actors from Tennessee to play these roles in a nonprofit theatre, and will remain to be the only ones for 25 more years because thats how long Broadway has locked up the rights for CATS... Our theatre got the rights before they decided to do another broadway/tour cast.
