No, the timer on your siege module ran out. Once a dread is in siege mode, it can't move, it's damage potential and defense goes up, and the turrets extend. It's a visual indication of the status of the ship. Once exiting siege mode, the dread goes back to normal, meaning the turrets retract. Your siege module's timer runs out just a couple of seconds before the retraction animation starts. Look again.
a ... ummm .... Easter egg :P .. who says you need to deploy weapons to fire them ... thats like having to use a camera only when you can put it in a tripod :D
should I get this game, I played the trial and when I actually put time into the game then it turns out I cant buy cruisers, I was only able to buy up to a destroyer.
My Abaddon does the same, but in my case it destroys a target and then fires one more time to the place the target was. It does nothing except the "visual shot" .
@BluTrollPro No, I dont' think its suppose to be. if you notice the turret actually turns off and is no longer facing the target. yet a laser beam fires
@rfry Ahh yes... i didnt not notice that wasnt paying much attention. Well i think there is currently a bug with some missile weapons similer to this... when after they are turned off a cloud of smoke and a noise will come for one round after they have been switched off... not sure if this has been fixxed.

Would anyone from EVE Online like to use the Invite a Friend Program with me and a friend of mine?

@davelantor
The glitch is that the laser beams are coming out of the back of the turrets.

@gamerx112 YES, one of the BEST games you can get. It's worth every penny once you get the hang of it.

At 0:40 seconds, you can see the turrets moving inside the ships, how can that happen?
Calaghi 1 year ago
@Calaghi its a feature of the Dreadnoughts, When they're extended their are in siege mode which does 5x damage... but the trade off is you can't move

It tends to happen on smaller ships/lasers too. I saw this on a punisher few days ago.
Don't know if any other types of weapon do this.
kokik261186 1 year ago
@kokik261186, I think you might be right
rfry 1 year ago
@kokik261186 They all do. Try Hybrids, Missiles, projectiles, they all do this. I don't really think it's that important a glitch.
MenachemSchmuel 1 year ago
@kokik261186 its a small glitch and i dont see why they would bother fixing it. more important things to do
